If you dread Sunday nights because of Monday mornings. If you are hammering the snooze button twenty times before you drag yourself out of bed, only to rush around the house so you can barely make it out the door on time. If you get sick to your stomach as you open your email each day, dread seeing your co-workers or your boss, and you’ve become a slave to the clock, just waiting for permission to bust out, fly home, and crack a beer. Or if you have become so shell-shocked by menial, unimportant conflict, you’ve conditioned yourself to simply tread water and walk on eggshells so as to avoid stress which really has no meaning to you…you are ready.
I have come to the conclusion we all reach a point in our lives where everything is telling us we’re ready to make a change. All of the aforementioned symptoms are things we have all experienced at one point, if not currently. But somewhere in human evolution, the grind got confused with misery, and we convinced ourselves those feelings were part of life, and they’re what you’re supposed to feel in the illustrious pursuit of “success”. So we waste away our time, and bury our passions, all so we can look back on years and years of showing up, with the only reward being a monthly retirement check so we can do nothing for the rest of our lives and get paid for it.
So you have to ask yourself, do you feel like you’re accomplishing nothing just so you can responsibly retire and get paid to do nothing? If you have found yourself silently nodding as you read along…you are ready. You are ready for a change. You are ready to take a chance. You are ready to walk blindly into your new life, because you literally have nothing to lose. If you are going to experience pain and suffering for something, make it something you are truly passionate about, because pain and suffering without passion is simply suppression. As soon as you realize you are risking your life by not taking a risk on your life, you will be ready to leave that which is giving you nothing for something, in exchange for something which can give you everything. You’re ready. So let’s go. -CPT Ryan

oppressively constant; incessant.
What does it mean to be Relentless? What does it mean to you? I would like to give you a little insight on what being Relentless means to me. Relentless means that I never give up, I never give in. I always strive to do my best and pursue the greatness I know lives within me. I want to be able to look at myself in the mirror at the end of each day and know that I did all I could to win the day. Then after a restful sleep, wake up with confidence knowing I will do it all over again.
Each new day comes with its own challenges. Each new day comes with its own victories. Therefore each new day will demand its own relentless motivation.
There are billions of people on this earth, all which you can use to help motivate you. They could be friends, they could be enemies. They could be siblings, or parents. They could honestly be anyone in the world. But the only person who has to look at you at the beginning and end of each day is you. So instead of concerning yourself with others, why don’t you concern yourself with YOU. Focus on reaching your goals for yourself, or doing your best for you.
Relentless, is having the energy each day, hour, minute, or second, in any facet of life, to not let up, to show yourself what you are capable of, to do your best!
Be consistent. Be persistent. Be never-ending. Be tenacious. Be RELENTLESS!

How to catch more zZz….
Even with the best diet and fitness routine, if your sleep is off, your goals will not be achieved. Here @bournrelentless offers some expert tips for a good night sleep whilst training.
Eat more Protein.
Studies have found that consuming the right amount of protein as part of a whole food, minimally processed diet, can improve sleep quality for middle-age adults. This sleep quality is better compared to those who lost the same amount of weight while consuming a less than ideal amount of protein.
Drink more in the Morning.
As you eat healthier fluids, especially water plays a major role in your success. Many people increase their water intake, but drinking a lot before bedtime can lead to a disturbed sleep. To combat this make sure you are drinking your additional liquids first thing in the AM.
Exercise early or opt for Yoga.
Exercise plays a huge part in a healthy lifestyle, but intense exercise before bedtime can interrupt sleep. It is best to exercise in the morning or choose exercises which de-stresses the body such as yoga if you have more time in the evening.
Surrender to the night with FIREFLY.
Before bed. Take one capsule of FIREFLY to optimize your Zzz’s as well as increase muscle recovery with essential vitamins and minerals like magnesium. Along with a small dose of melatonin, this natural combination helps to calm your body and allows you to peacefully drift off.

Everything we touch today comes with a filter. From our pictures and videos, to what we say and the feedback we get, all the way to how we see ourselves and how we let the world see us. Some are societal, and some are self-inflicted, but more and more we are choosing to ignore the reality in favor of the filter. The problem with the filter, however, is that it doesn’t really change anything, it just strains out what you don’t want to see, be seen, or in some cases, deal with.
You can’t change what you aren’t willing to accept, and you can’t accept what you aren’t willing to see. At some point, the disparity between the filter and the reality becomes so big, that all you are left with is fiction. Remember that progress is rooted in reality, so if you are scared, ashamed, embarrassed, or nervous about what’s behind that filter, realize that whatever it is that makes you feel that way is going to stay right there until you are ready to take the filter off, and stare all that is real square in the face.
Every once in a while, we need a reminder that filters actually exist to highlight or enhance what is good as opposed to covering up what is bad. If everything looks great on the outside, but you are still in unfulfilled turmoil on the inside, try living life unfiltered for a while. It may be humbling, discouraging, or downright depressing at first, but soon enough those feelings will be overtaken by progress, and the only thing left to be filtered will be the haters, the naysayers, and the doubters. – CPT Ryan
